The rated power of this receiver is 240W, and this FAN-18R receiver work at radio frequency 303.9MHz. The superior rated power capacity carrying allows you to access more light bulbs, greatly extend the service life.
This receiver can control the ceiling fan speed(HI, MED, LOW, OFF) and light brightness(ON,OFF,DIMMING). Especially 18R receiver is compatible with incandescent light bulbs and dimmable LED/CFL lamps.If your LED lights are non-dimmable, light dimmer only supports the ON/OFF function in that case.
This receiver is easy to install. If your ceiling fan has a rod, you can simply detach the canopy and drop it down the rod to replace the receiver.If your ceiling fan is a ceiling mount- you have to detach the whole fixture, including the canopy, to replace, or install the receiver.
