How to reset the ceiling fan remote?

To reset the ceiling fan remote, turn off the fan and press and hold the power button on the remote till the light on it begins to flash. After that, for 30 seconds, press and hold it again to resynchronize the remote control with the ceiling fan. Another option is to remove the batteries from the remote. Then, for about 15 seconds, press and hold the power button on your remote. Place the batteries back and try using your ceiling fan remote again
