There is no visible switch to reverse the direction of the ceiling fan. I removed the plate and everything. How in the world do I reverse this bad boy? Remote?

I have the same brand of fan, Merwry, from Home Depot. Here’s my model, which has the exact same remote control. Until today, I thought it did not offer a reversible “wintertime” mode, but according to the product listing, it does. One reviewer says: “it is on top of the motor. Slide the small cover up where the extension rod screws into the fan. You will find a small black flip switch. Flip it the opposite way to reverse the current direction.”

Just to ride the top comment, I have the same brand and same remote as OP as well and the reverse button is in the remote. There’s a single black button under the plate on the back of the remote that you press one time while the fan is on low and it switches the direction.
